WHY EAT HEALTHY?
What you feed your body is everything. It's what keeps you going through out your day, and through out your life. You should try and feed it nothing short of the best; organic, NON-GMO, wholesome foods.
When you eat organic and non-gmo foods, it gives nutrition to your body to function properly. Eating a well balanced diet is also very important, getting all of the different kinds of nutrients to your body.
When you see a product that says "organic" what it stands for is the produce or other indredients are grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers (man made, inorganic compounds), sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms, or ionizing radiation.
Animals that produce meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products do not take antibiotics or growth hormones.
If a product says that it is "Non-GMO" or "GMO FREE", all it means is that it was not genetically modified. So if there isn't an "ORGANIC" label also on the product that does not necessarily mean that its organic. That's something you should watch out for.
A GMO (genetically modified organism) is the result of a laboratory process where genes from the DNA of one species are extracted and artificially forced into the genes of an unrelated plant or animal. The foreign genes may come from bacteria, viruses, insects, animals or even humans.
