In recent years, the founders of the International Speed Skating Federation(ISSF) have heard many outdoor speed skaters wanting a more active voice in their sport. As an effort to provide that voice, the ISSF was formed. The primary purpose of the federation is to bring the outdoor speed skaters of the world together and allow them to actively participate, interact and promote the future of their sport. We welcome all speed skaters throughout the world regartdless of age or skill level.
