The Board of Directors for the International Speed Skating Federation has multiple visions for the future of this new and growing organization.
MEMBERS
First and foremost is providing a voice, forum and representation
for all ISSF members worldwide. We want to insure that the sport of Speed Skating is avaliable to whomever wants to participate regardless of race, creed or economic status. This effort is a "win win" for participants and communities since our sport generates healthy members and our events will generate income to participating communties and regions.
FACILITIES
Secondly, we have been exploring the creation of a "Super Rink" which can house any ISSF event. With the help of the talented engineers and architects at
USKA, Inc, our team has been researching facility development and geographic locatioons throughout the United States. We have also been collecting information about developing a variety of smaller facilities in the U.S. and internationally. These facilities would be available to all ISSF members and would further the promotion of our sport across the globe.
As more information become available, the Board Members at ISSF will keep all members informed about the new and exciting facilities.
